I’m a silly Homestuck nerd who simply cannot fight the Homestuck no matter how hard I try [this is a cry for help] but that’s ok, it means I get to make silly drawings and post my bonkers opinions [though some of them are pretty based and you should totally listen to everything I say[[/J THIS IS A JOKE]]]

I have a particular fondness for Eridan Ampora, as I find myself heavily relating to him in certain ways [You’ll never take me alive] and I feel his character deserves more justice. Now, that does NOT mean I condone his actions by any means. Killing is bad homies, don’t commit a murder I am not liable.

Otherwise my other favorites are Jade, Egbert[Both John and June are based], Roxy, Terezi and Aradia. Of course, I really like a good majority of the characters in Homestuck, sans Cronus, Doc Scratch and Hussie himself

I also have a Homestuck Discord server if you wanna talk to me! It’s pretty much a general place to chill and stuff and talk about Homestuck.

so much of how much spiderverse connects with people, and why it has so much heart, is because it boils down to understanding other people.

i remember being so excited about spider-gwen b/c i relate to her so much. there’s so much people can relate to, things involving being neurodivergent, being trans, being gay, being a person of color, being disabled, being a mix of all of the above!

when my friend and i were walking out of the theater, three different people asked us if the movie was good, and we had such a genuine connection with these people, and it’s not a coincidence that one was in a wheelchair, one was a theater employee who’s badge said “they/them” on it.

we’re different, but we’re the same. i see you, and i know you.

No-fault divorce is actually very recent. That is, a divorce just because you wanted to get divorced and not because they were guilty of some provable transgression. California’s no-fault divorce law was 1966; the latest US state, it was 2010. When I was in Catholic school, we were taught to believe in and promote anti-no-fault-divorce positions. This is very recent history, and you cannot take even this for granted. Stop being “edgy” about feminism and its flaws. Every movement will have some flaws. But do you not think that this, and the risk it represents, is significant to women as a class of all backgrounds?

But have we considered how actually terrified peter b has to be here?

Like, he introduces miguel as his friend. We see he was there when miguel's universe fell apart. Miguel puts up with him bringing mayday everywhere and letting her climb all over everything. These 2 had to have been actually close.

So of course peter knew that miguel was going to talk to miles, maybe he knew miguel would say mean shit to him, but this is a face of genuine surprise. Not even the person arguably closest to miguel knew he would (or even could) act like this. Like, look at him!! Hes terrified!! The man he was there for during an entire universe's collapse, the man he considers a friend, the man he let hold his baby, is capable of doing this!!
